Mayday is Kyng Material's first single taken from the DeJavu mixtape 2025©️. The track is a spin off and modernised version of 'Oro isiti', a song he recorded a while back in 'orin ewi' in Yoruba. "orin ewi" refers to a song that is poetic in nature, often incorporating elements of traditional Yoruba oral poetry and is used for various purposes, including entertainment, storytelling, and cultural preservation.
